Non-Violence. You don't have to beat someone up to be taken serously. True, or you could use stealth, and pick pocketing to steal Pokeballs.... Or hell, make a machine that destroys all Pokeballs in existence I don't think pickpocketing would work. If something of yours is stolen, then you're more than likely going to assume it's the shady guy in the weird uniforn. And building a machine that destroys all Poke Balls in existence is impossible.

Oh, i dunno, Guns, Explosives, maybe some, other, conventional weapons ...in a Pokémon game? Oh, i dunno, Guns, Explosives, maybe some, other, conventional weapons Kids game. Just sayin, if Team Plasma don't want people capturing T-rexs in tiny balls and then forcing them to fight each other to the death by means of magical fire and lighting, then why are they doing the same? Remember Nothing is as it seems....

THISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHIS Platinum is my favorite, but I can't say it's the best on a technical scale. That Gen, hands down, had my favorite use of the touch screen with the Poke Watch (correct me if the name is wrong). It was so simple a concept, but I found myself using it a lot. One of my complaints in Black and White is the crappy touch screen in the overworld. Also, most of the arguments seem like this. Person 1: Oh, I like how they added (Rotation Battles/Shaking Grass/Better Sprite Animation/Etc) Person 2: Yeah, but they didn't change crap. (Referring to the Meta-Game) To a more casual player, this game added a ton of cool stuff, and is it that bad in the end, as long as the meta-gane isn't screwed up in the process? Plus, this game made one of the most annoying sounds in all of gaming into a musical masterpiece: I want this in Smash Bros on a Pokemon stage if someone's health hits 300%.

But when you're say versing a gym leader, N, elite 4 member etc. it still stays very annoying

I think we can all agree on what the stupidest complaint with Gen 5 is: the fact that it doesn't introduce anything new. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go break something. I think it had the weakest designs in my opinion. The only one I like was Scrafty, Vanniluxe, and Stoutland. I count the whole lines. I like to think that all Pokemon Gens have equally great rosters. Whichever you prefer is really based on personal preference. To say Gen 5 had the weakest roster is a biased statement. And care to elaborate on why the roster is so bad? By not providing a well-reasoned argument, you're kind of reinforcing my point on the Pokemon fan base.

The more I think about it, the more I realise how ungodly unfair it is to hate Gen 5 for its "lack of innovation." Natures, abilities, and the physical/special split were all introduced in order to fix what was wrong with the combat. By Gen 5, the gameplay was perfected, so any changes they would make would just be bells and whistles(which is exactly what they were). Even in X/Y, the combat still feels the same, only with another type, and the Mega Evolutions actually TAKE AWAY enjoyment from the game.

If you think Gen 5 is amazing I really don't care. Also since I made that post Druddigon, Mandibuzz, and Foonguss have all really grown on me. To be honest with most of the pokemon in Gen 5 I was meh on.
