You know what I find funny? People have a problem with Trubbish being a trash bag, yet they're fine with Makuhita being a PUNCHING BAG. Trubbish is a dirty diaper I thought. I forgot Makuhita even existed. I found most of Gen 5 to be unmemorable. I can say Gen 1 and Gen 6 are the ones I can point out and say that was a cool design.

I like it, but not my favorite. that honor goes to gen 4 (pokemon platinum)THISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHISTHIS Platium is superb. Cyrus was the most memorable villian in the series. He was like "Fuck this lets destroy everything."

I have to agree with people like superflipper. Team Plasma were great, and frankly misunderstood villains. I think they are a walking Paradox. "STOP USING POKEMON IN BATTLE. LETS BATTLE!" To be fair, what else could they do? The only way they could pose a threat to you is if they battle you with Pokémon, and it's not like they could use anything other than the animation of using a Poké Ball to send one out. That, and I'm sure they thought "it's okay if we use them because we don't mistreat them."

Trubbish was Ok, but Garbodor is seriously ugly looking.

How is that any different? Team Flare kept it short and simple. Also, they were ridiculously over-the-top. One of the grunts says something like "Team Flare is awesome and for winners!". It's really evident that they aren't a team that's meant to be threatening and I like that. Plasma wasn't overtly goofy and both N and the other characters just went on and on. X & Y never forced you to go on a Ferris wheel ride with Lysandre. I'd rather a game cut the bullshit and just get to the point, especially a Pokemon game.

Ghetsis was the master mind behind team Plasma. they were duped into believing an irrational lie. Ghetsis just wanted nobody else but his minions to have Pokemon, the liberating Pokemon from humanity was a lie. N was just a puppet leader. Of course when that fails Ghetsis's true plans come to light as he switches for a brute force approach.
Ghetsis was more openly evil than Lysandre imo, though Lysandre was maybe more messed up in the head. Lysandre tried to be good and but gave up when things seemed hopeless which why he went nuts. Ghetsis was just a typical villain. Lysandre was depressed by how there was imbalance in resources and came to conclusion that had to save some while the rest would have to be wiped out to restore balance, while that's bad he wasn't outright openly evil. Where as Ghetsis the true head of team Plasma just wanted typical world domination and kind f same thing who ever wasn't with him would probably be destroyed... as he demonstrated when he froze the one city in B&W 2, a show of force and terrorism. "I got Kyurem hooked up to a cannon to use it's power as a weapon." Lysandre got tried to be good, but got depressed and went crazy, Ghetsis was just evil to begin with.
