The Butler: The fim was a bit to long, but other than that it was enjoyable and the acting was great. 7.5/10

Leon: The Professional
Very off kilter film but at the heart of it there is a great buddy movie, whether or not they are more than buddies is questionable but you will never see a film quite like this
8.5/10
Punch Drunk Love
I never thought I would say this but Adam Sandler delivers an absolutely world beating performace in this sweet romance film. It is a bit too strange for its own good though and gets rather bogged down in an ineffectual side plot.
7/10

American Hustle
Wonderfully crafted film with seemingly every actor in it. I wish to give nothing away but the way it ends is masterful
8.5/10

The Wicker Man: I thought it was going to be awfully hilarious, but I thought it was really mediocre. It did have some funny moments from Nicolas Cage however. The acting is terrible (with exception of Nicolas Cage because he was entertaining) 5/10

12 Years A Slave
Behold your Oscar sweeper of the year. Chiwetel Ejiofor puts in a world beating performance but there is so much more: it is an absolutely brutal telling of the story and everything adds up into making it what it is. Very hard to fault and the first time I have cried at a film in a good long while.

Blue Jasmine: The acting was really good, but other than that I didnät enjoy this movie that much. It's not a badmMovie and I really liked Midnight In Paris, but this movie is not for me. 6/10

Her:
A visually stunning film with solid writing and performances to back it up. One of the best romantic dramas in a while.

Frozen: Loved it one of my favourites from 2013. The characters were likeable (except for one douche). Most of the songs were good. Things that bugged me was just one song and one twist, but I can understand the twist since it wanted to get out its message through that twist. 9.5/10 (and by the way Tangled vs Frozen, I like Tangled slightly more, but they're both great films)

Jiro Dreams of Sushi
Fascinating documentary. Wonderful to see such a master of the craft with shots that really do every step justice. A great story in it with some solid music as well.
9/10
