Well, may as well start this again. List any films you have seen this year; forgotten most of mine so I will just start again.
Saw The Commitments the other day; loved it as it was a celebration of soul music which is one of my very favourite genres and the whole film had a realistic feel to it even with the slightly shoddy acting at points
The Commitments Avengers Assemble Grizzly Man Origin: Spirit of the Past

Much Ado About Nothing - Supposed to be a comedy but I believe most of the humor came from how funny the people sound in this film. Most of the actors are Americans doing comical British accents, what is there not to like?
The Warriors - Besides the whole Ajax thing and the semi-anti climactic ending, I really, REALLY enjoyed this film. Extra props goes to the soundtrack. It's absolutely awesome.
The Avengers - MIND BLOWN. Definately one of the best superhero movies ever made. I had doubts about the new Hulk but he pulled it off with flying colors. The dialogue is also hilarious and the slapstick in the film was well shot and was thought through. Go see this movie now!
They Live - Imagine if the cheesiness of 80's action films got thrown into a blender with 50's sci-fi films. This movie is the result. The opening is pretty boring but it pays off great. The script is pretty good too with over-the-top lines like "I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all outta gum", They Live is worth a watch.

Oh yeah, I also saw Avengers Assemble. Whedon knew what he was doing here (aside from a few cinematography mishaps) with each Avenger getting a nice amount of screen time and some superb performances

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence - This is the worst advertised movie ever. Everything about it was bad. The acting was terrible except for the guy who played the drunk monk, I didn't favor the style of the film, and I didn't like the editing to be honest. This movie was just terrible.
Hunger Game - I liked this film. Despite the way it was used a lot, the shaky cam was fitting for all the action and running. Spoiler: I cried when Rue died, especially when District 11 was being torn apart by it's citizens. The acting was good in my opinion, Jennifer did a great job at Katniss and so did Josh with Peeta. I just wish it didn't have to be so fast-paced, it felt rushed at parts. Overall, I thought it was a good film.
Scott Pilgrim - I DO NOT CARE IF THIS MOVIE CAME OUT IN 2010 AND I'M JUST SEEING IT NOW, THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER, SHARING THE 1ST SPOT WITH ANOTHER MOVIE ALSO. This movie had everything I though it had even before I saw it. The acting was well done, the humor was hilarious, the actors looked like the characters from like book, and to be honest, nobody in the movie I didn't either love as a character or love them because of every word they said. This movie's editing is amazing, and I love it. Something in the movie exactly replicate ones from the book. A few things I know is that weaknesses and lines were said or had by some other character from the one in the movie, The Katayanagi Twins were WAYYY different in the comics, and Todd actually cheats on Envy with Lilnette (or is it Lilynette? Something along those lines...). I absolutely love the music in this movie, the songs by Sex Bob-Omb are good as well as the one played by The Clash at Demonhead. I adore this movie to no end.
Avengers - Well shot, well directed, well acted, well written, hilarious dialogue at times, emotional, well developed, well paced, amazing villan, and amazing characters. It's the best superhero movie I've ever seen. You know the other movie that shares the number spot as my favorite movie other then Scott Pilgrim. This movie. OMIGOSHIRONMANISAWESOME

Grizzly Man-Absolutely awe inspiring documentary with great footage from both Herzog and Treadwell with a brilliant soundtrack and it really paints the picture of a brilliant (if slightly strange) man

Origins: Spirit of the Past-At the start it approached its environmental message in a really cool way saying that it was important to find a healthy medium. But the last half was truly, truly a travesty and absolutely shite.

Monsters University: Pixar is making their comeback (not that the last two movies were bad or anything but they weren't as good as previous films from them) But this Movie isn't as great as Monsters Inc but it's still a very enjoyable movie 8/10

I can still keep track of what I see yay.
Prisoners Film of the year , very reminiscent of Heavy Rain and an all round smart crime thriller. 9/10
In the Loop Very entertaining political comedy, Peter Capaldi better swear as the Doctor. 8/10
Captain Phillips Nai biting aside from a weird transitional 20 minutes in the middle 8/10
Alien Very smart and forward thinking film: absolute classic. 9/10

I saw 3 movies when I was at Rocky Point in Mexico, and I watched them with an English Track.
Blazing Saddles: I don't know if it's me or the old 70's audio quality, but I couldn't understand what they were saying half the time. Still, it had a funny climax.
The Road to El Dorado: A very underrated movie with some great banter from the main duo.
Kung Fu Panda: Had some great animation, great jokes, great kung fu choreography, and as long as the actors play their parts well then I don't care how many celebrities are in this movie. The problem I have is with the villain. Don't get me wrong, he was very menacing, they do a good job on making him look like a threat as evidenced when he escapes his prison, and he has a good backstory, but I wish they could've given him a little bit more personality. Not to mention, the voice was so unfitting for him that i was snickering when he first talked. They should've given him a different voice actor and made him sound more Dr. Claw-ish.
