The more I think about it, the more I realise that this game is a lot like classic Mega Man. It may seem frustrating at first, but it is in fact a difficult game. If you screw up, it's your own fault. Not the game's. First off Classic Mega Man is one of the most cheap platformers. Second in every 3D sonic except Heroes(Surprising fluid) and Color I have fallen throw the floor. So if I fall through the floor it is my fault. By fall through the floor I mean literally fall into just nothing. Like a spot in the path were I just fall through. Maybe I have the magic copy of all these games that has that glitch, but that is highly. I repeat highly unlikely. If it is a glitch then it is completely the games fault.

*Likes the game a lot, even more than Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 on the Genesis*
*Thought the story was pretty amazing, despite Elise being more or less a Barbie Doll*
*Is not affected by that one scene because it's not like any OTHER sort of entertainment has shown an animal being kissed by a human or vice versa (Ex. The Frog Prince, Looney Tunes, Family Guy, etc.)*
*Never encountered these glitches people keep going on about, the only glitch I did was Silver's boss fights*

That's because it's demonstartion video of the many bugs people found in the game while playing it normally.

But the glitches i mentioned can be activated unintentionally, as they are in common spots, where you are likely to run across.

That guy intentionally activated nearly every single glitch he showed off. So yeah, it is your fault. As the others before me said these are glitches in common areas that can be easily encountered by accident, some of them I have unintentionally set off like the Sonic duplication glitch for example. This is getting really silly, your comparison to the classic Mega Man games is invalid as those games were competently programmed, Sonic '06 was not. What baffles me is how you can say that Pokemon Gen 1 deserves all the hate it gets (and do bare in mind, you did say glitches were a reason) and then turn around and say that this game doesn't even through it's a poorly programmed mess were you can come across a glitch at the drop of a hat.

He also claimed that games should not be judged because we are lucky to have them.

I love you. This game is incomplete and that is a fact. The energy system is proof of that. It is clearly supposed to be a large gameplay mechanic, the HUD, manual entry and graphical effects are in place yet it's always on maximum no matter what. Like they were busy testing the effects of the energy system but then didn't bother to change it back to normal for the release. It's stuff like that (And the Sticky Wall glitch and the general culterfuck that is the Mach Speed sections that make this game inexcusably bad to me. I mean if you garner fun out of Sonic 06 then more the power to you but honestly it baffles me that this game is defended like this.
