Reality TV was a Dutch idea? I thought it was U.S. one.

Aye, it's Dutch. It started with Big Brother, which was thought up by this dipshit. He's also responsible for programs like the Voice of Buttville, so you know who to blame for the current state of television.

People must be dumb everywhere for it to have caught on. Considering how well it took off here it seems another -1 for the U.S.

Another thing that annoys me... cultural festivals and cultural heritage months. Culturalfestivals are annoying since make other diverse cultures look cooler than own. Cultural heritage months are just pointless and there's only 12 months so it's unfair too.

It's a way for people to learn about one's culture, experience their foods, their traditions, etc. It's certainly not an excuse to brag about how great your culture is. And cultural heritage months...well, you can celebrate more than one culture a month and people do just that. Only a few are ever brought up though.

Well, they annoy me since: 1) inspires jealousy towards other more interesting cultures, 2) depress me since I feel I have no such thing to celebrate.
Well, it feels good to discuss this stuff. It feels better to express my feelings about it.

I'm a Vietnamese Asian, sure it's not one of those other hotshot Asian countries like, Japan, China, or Korea. But damn it, Vietnam is freaking amazing in it's own way, that said, we have pho. Your argument is null and void.

Yup, I'm quite proud of being Italian XD Jokes aside, even if Italy's reputation isn't the best one out there, all the art&music side of Italy makes me very proud

Which was a fantastic film, by the way.
