Bringing this thread back from the V1 forum.
To start this thread off yes I am proud to be Canadian. Canada may not be perfect but I'm pretty happy here.

Why copy threads? What's the use?
Not gonna settle here permanently.

Why copy threads? What's the use? Not gonna settle here permanently. We could, depending on circumstances. If the original forum is unsalvagable and Krazier/Protista decide it remains dead, we'd have no choice. Honestly, why does everyone on this fucking board sound like an ungrateful wanker?

Because the forum really shouldn't be down for more than a week. I have nothing against Krazier personally but he doesn't seem very invested in the forum. I don't know, maybe he did more than I realize but it seems that he never really took an active role in the forum's development and considering he's in charge, that's not good. Also, proboards? I know I'm the only one who gives two shits about this but goddamn. It's archaic, ugly and just uncomfortable. It looks slapped together and it's just plain unappealing. I feel like I stepped back in time a decade.

For the love of Chaos, Pirate, this whining is getting excessive, and it's frankly getting old.
Sure, it's not what YOU want, but be proud that we at least HAVE a backup. It may not look the best, but this is a temporary forum; making a separate forum just because you don't like the look of another sounds incredibly childish. Plus, since there are so few people on this replacement forum as is, there would probably be even less people on yours.
And yes, I know that you don't like MyBB either, but you've tolerated it for this long and not many others have had open problems with that site. It's not ABOUT looks. It's about the community. And aside from those damned bots I don't think Proboards OR MyBB has done our community any wrong.
So, to you, Pirate, and everyone else reading this, we ask for this behaviour to end in the time before Krazier gets the main site back online.

Being American is just... eh to me. I do find every other culture fascinating, except for anything American. I feel same way. Of course, I refuse to be called American... to me America is NOT the country name. The name is the United States of America, but America is the continent NOT the country. Only Australia is both continent and country. Of course, the truth is I wish to distance myself from being bound to a national identity. A foolish concept that fosters more division than it does unity (it only fosters unity in the smallest and most insignificant scale, while it causes great harm in the larger scale (racism, war, "us vs. them" mentality, and so on...)). I'd rather be acknowledged as having either no nationality at all, or being all of them all at once. The freedom to cross cultural boundaries un-impeded, is a wonderful thing I wish to one day have. I'm a hopeless dreamer I know, but without it I'd have no point in continuing life on this earth. If this is all there is, then, I am already burning in H***.
