Cause this thread never got carried over from V3
Shakugan no Shana - It kinda stinks that this show only got worse as it went on. Season 1 was a very strong start for the series introducing an interesting story, universe, and characters as well as mixing in some humorous character interactions among the action and story. Sadly seasons 2 & 3 did not meet up to the standards set up by season 1. Season 2 started off slow (nothing of note even happened in episodes 3-8), and season 3 while having a very interesting story (especially in the first half of the season) and a cool final battle, introduced way too many unnecessary side characters that got no development or backstory, and there's just one thing about the final battle that did not make sense. Despite the flaws with the latter 2 seasons I'd be lying to myself if I said "I didn't enjoy the show as a whole". Looking past the flaws of seasons 2 and 3 the show does manage to stay very interesting mostly helped by it's major characters. A lot of the characters who were introduced in season 1 really develop a lot throughout the course of the series and it all comes out to a rather satisfying conclusion come the third season. The story is also constantly on the move with various plot points being worked in to make the plot more interesting to follow. In fact what made the second half of season 3 interesting despite it's flaws is how the plot at that point makes you root for the antagonists as opposed to the heroes. So while seasons 2 and 3 didn't live up to the standards of season 1 the series as a whole was entertaining to watch with a rather good cast of major characters. Not exactly a favorite series of mine but at least it's one I enjoyed.
Currently watching....
Is this a Zombie? - Only 2 episodes in but so far the style of humor is amusing and the characters seem fun. Kill la Kill - Honestly I'm pretty disappointed so far. So far it's been 12 episodes and the show has gone nowhere, so far all this show has amounted to is fight scenes, extreme cartoon violence, and fan service, and the whole "over the top" feel has just worn off at this point. Basically every time I watch an episode of this show I just wish I could be watching Gurren Lagann, which managed to have over the top fight scenes but at the same time had a good story to go a long with it. This is basically something that would be more amusing if it were a video game.

Sakurasou: This was suprisingly really good I really liked the show. I liked the characters, humour and the message 8/10
Fate Stay Night and Fate Zero: I loved both of them, I thought they both were aweome. I wasn't bothered by the main character in FSN as most people was. But I like FZ more for having some really intresting sevants such as Lancer which is my favourite servant. For FSN it's 9/10 for FZ 9.5/10
Outbreak Company: Meh, The characters are okay, the humour is okay. the plot isn't that intresting. 5.5/10
My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy: Hilarious 7.5/10
Black Lagoon: Awesome, I really love this show. The action is awesome, most of the characters are really good especially Revy which is one of my favourite female characters in anime. The dialogue is great. I prefer season 2, but both of the seasons are great. I don't find a major flaw in the show and since I really love the show it's a 10/10. This show is more for people who enjoy movies since this show makes some references to movies such as Terminator

Madoka Magica - Oh man it's depressing but SO GOOD!!!. I really like how no episode in the 12 episodes is filler and each contribut to the story/characters in some way. The Action scenes are just awesome looking and i do like most characters..expect Kyubey..she's a jerk. While it is a short series it is very much worth your time to watch this series and you can usually find it online so if you don't want to pay anything to watch it i suggest you watch it there. My only major problem is the ending i don't mean the Original Anime's ending i mean the 3rd Movie's ending witch threw a wrench at the whole meaning behind the ending..ah well i can complain more about that another day. Still this excellent Anime Series should be watched..unless your under the age of 13 then it will depress you..a lot.

Blazblue Alter Memory: It needed more episodes. One of the biggest issue I have is that we can't learn so much about the characters through´. For instance what do we know about Carl (sure he's not that intresting character, but still), nothing realy. What do we know about Relius (note I hate him) nothing. We didn't really get to know much about the six heroes The show focused much on Ragna, Jin, Noel, Tsubaki and Hazama. It needed more episodes so that we get to know about every character Another thing this show didn't have that cool fight scenes. Since his show i an adaptation of a fighting game this show should at least hve awesome fight scenes. And one trivial thing this show made me hate Hazama more. I know it sonds ike I hate the show, but I don't I like the show, it just has some serious flaws. 7/10

I finished Sword Art Online a week ago. It was an average anime. I enjoyed watching it, but the story and characters might have gotten a boost. I did have the urge to play a mmo after though, I would love to play a mmo like SAO or ALO.

Just finished watching one of the more recent anime to come out, Kyoukai no Kanata (or Beyond the Boundary for ye English peeps)
It's certainly another well done anime by KyoAni, I really loved the humorous parts in it. Although at times I questioned what the bloody hell was happening (like in the third OVA with Hiroomi in just a scarf like wow I can't)
The plot developed well and I certainly enjoyed the romance in it. Them characters just kill your emotions ya know?

Baccano!: this is kinda like pulp fiction of anime. This was a great show. I thought it started kinda slow, but it got a lot better later through. Issues I have is some characters were unintresting for example Luck was the only interesting Gandor, the other Gandors I didn't really care for them. My favourie characters are Isaac and Miria, I just love their personality 8.5/10

I recently finished two anime series.
The first is Kyoukai no Kanata. This was the newest of KyoAni and while I didn't think it was a good as their previous work, Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, it was still pretty decent. I adored its ED. Daisy is just an amazing piece in my eyes. To me KnK felt a lot like the Kamisama no Inai Nichiyobi of the season, with the way I experienced it. After the first few episodes on both ends I got really bored of it, but after pushing on, I grew to really like it. (Plus both have fantasic ED's that I love *shot*) I'd reccomend it to those who like kyo and things and like action stories also.
The other I watched was Guilty Crown. The show was quite a disappointment especially, when my friend claimed it to be the best he's seen out of anime yet. It looked and sounded good, but the story and characters were very lacking.

Is This a Zombie? - Probably one of my favorite anime I've seen recently. One the one hand it managed to be a good comedy with enjoyable main characters, episodes that were fun to watch, and some well done humor. However on the other hand it actually had a lot of depth to it for a show that was a silly comedy. The main character Ayumu really learned a lot from being a zombie and I did feel that he grew as a character quite a bit later on in the series notably through his relationship with the four main female characters who all played their roles very well. I feel as if each character had a point in the series with a very well established relationship to Ayumu but at the same time every character managed to be fun to watch.
Currently Watching: A Certain Magical Index - The first four episodes are rather plot-exposition heavy but the characters and story set up show a lot of promise. Ouran Highschool Host Club - No real opinion yet, but I'm not sure whether to think if Tamaki is annoying or funny.

Berserk: It's okay, this anime is not really for me. Probably because I haven't watched that many 90s anime. The ending sucked 6/10
