Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next or, if you prefer, the second season of Haganai. And IT. WAS. GLORIOUS! People say there's no such thing as a good harem. I say fuck you, go watch Haganai.
...Actually, that's all I got. My brain won't come up with anything else to say. But seriously, if you haven't seen Haganai, go correct that mistake. Now.

Is This a Zombie? - Probably one of my favorite anime I've seen recently. One the one hand it managed to be a good comedy with enjoyable main characters, episodes that were fun to watch, and some well done humor. However on the other hand it actually had a lot of depth to it for a show that was a silly comedy. The main character Ayumu really learned a lot from being a zombie and I did feel that he grew as a character quite a bit later on in the series notably through his relationship with the four main female characters who all played their roles very well. I feel as if each character had a point in the series with a very well established relationship to Ayumu but at the same time every character managed to be fun to watch. Currently Watching: A Certain Magical Index - The first four episodes are rather plot-exposition heavy but the characters and story set up show a lot of promise. Ouran Highschool Host Club - No real opinion yet, but I'm not sure whether to think if Tamaki is annoying or funny. I love Is This A Zombie? and Ouran High School Host Club. They're two of my favorites, the latter especially. No one shall foul-mouth Tamaki-senpai on my watch. I have nothing bad to say about OHSHC, the subbed version is great, the dubbed version is great, there are exactly the correct number of characters to flesh out given the episode number and the climax makes me feel so hard every single time.

I have just finished To Aru Majutsu no Index. While having it's flaws, I loved it. Most people talk about the characters being very memorable but that wasn't really the case for me... with a few exceptions of course. And at some points there were just characters introduced, shown for some episodes and then never to be seen again/talked about or show up at a later moment. Apparently this follows the light novel, so I'm afraid I'll have to wait till season 3. And I want it. Now. Oh, and I love Last Order <3

Well I got a lot.....
A Certain Magical Index (Season 1): Probably one of the best things I've watched in a while and definitely one of my favorites. Academy City is a great and well developed setting that opens itself to a lot of colorful characters and interesting story scenarios. All six arcs in the season were very interesting stories on their own offering great action scenes, and good deals of story and character depth. I do look forward to watching season 2 and the hopefully coming soon season 3.
A Certain Scientific Railgun (Season 1): About on the same level as Index season 1. Like Index it features a very well fleshed out cast of characters that are also entertaining to watch, and while it isn't told in separate arcs the story as a whole was well put together with the same attention given to character depth in Index. However the only real issues I had were a few episodes felt like unneeded fillers, and it didn't really expand upon the world of Academy City as much as Index did.
Haganai, I Don't Have Many Friends (Season 1): A rather amusing harem comedy. All of the characters were entertaining to watch and it was one of those shows that kept me looking forward to seeing what silly shenanigans would happen next. However for a show that is about working through your quirks to make friends I didn't feel like the characters really grew minus Kodoka and Yozora, but it was a nice introduction to the series and hopefully season 2 expands upon more things.
Highschool DxD (Season 1): Don't really see why this is the most praised show in the ecchi genre as it pretty much makes the same mistakes a lot of ecchi shows get bashed for. About halfway through the show I realized the writers hardly put any effort into making it good. The show had a good story set up but instead of acting up on it the story is too busy focusing on the main character Issei running errands and train, throwing boob and panty shots around, and having Issei constantly make perverted remarks that simply exist to show he is a pervert and aside from being predictable are said at the worst times. Characters were hit and miss as the side characters were entertaining but hardly got any focus, Rias really just felt like she was there for plot exposition and to be a love interest to Issei and a bad one at that and I don't see why people like her so much (I actually think she's more overhyped than Kirito), and the main villain Riser was just cliched and unlikable. However I did find myself laughing at times (even if it was mostly cause it was so poorly written at times it was funny) but I can't consider it a "so bad it's good" show since the flaws are still very present and apparently it has a rep for being good.
AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day: Might have to watch again, I did enjoy the heartwarming nature of it but I feel like I rushed through it so I feel like a second watchthrough will make me truly appreciate it.
Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom: Started off very slow with a first 7 episodes that were rather dull training missions, assassinations and mafia babble, but once episode 8 came things really did pick up. Not the most interesting show out there as it was boring at times but it did manage to keep me in anticipation of what would happen next, and like any Gen Urobuchi show I really enjoyed the psychology behind the plot. Perhaps the highlight of this show was the main character Zwei's relationship with Cal (introduced in the second act) which added to the point the show was trying to get across and was a nice addition to the show's plot that kept it from being too dark and gritty. However what keeps it from being something I truly found great was the lack of interesting character aside from Zwei and Cal and again the fact that it was boring at times.

Yeah I've heard Phantom completely drops the ball in the second half. It's got a brilliant opening though. Ah well, can't win 'em all. Just realized there was a typo in that statement, I meant to say Zwei and Cal were the only interesting characters not Zwei and Ein (though liked Ein to a degree). But I actually felt it got better as it went on since I preferred the focus on the relationship between Zwei and Cal.

I just finished the first season of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. And I'm pretty amazed by it.
Not only do I think that it's superior than the original (To Aru Majutsu no Index), but it was so great that I immediately started on the second season.
Problem is though, I can't even explain why I like it so much....

Finished watching Fate/Zero this Friday
Wow, I am impressed at how this anime never tried to pull the fanservice card, not even during the weird tentacle things Caster was summoning. Other than the ending which had to remind me that Fate/Stay Night exists, I really liked this story, it's definitely something I would recommend everyone to watch

Soo... It took me only a week to finish To Aru Kagaku no Railgun... damn.
That. was. amazing. Except for probably the final episodes of the sister arc (which were basically a rehash of what happened in To Aru Majutsu no Index), I liked everything. The ending was fenominal. Most of the characters were good.
Direct quote from a small review I made on another forum:
I can't wait for more seasons. To Aru Majutsu no Index got an open end (it does continue in the manga), and there is a To Aru Kagaku no Accelerator manga in the work currently, so who knows?

Rosario to Vampire: I can't really say it was great but I found it enjoyable to a degree. It had it's fair share of flaws common in a harem like a loser male lead, a clingy female lead, a forced romance between the two leads, and most of the male characters being annoyingly perverted. The second season also felt like the same thing as the first season and I can't really say the show was particularly interesting in comparison to other school life comedies like Ouran Highschool Host Club and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. However on the positive side I did find enjoyment in watching this show, maybe because I went into this show knowing it wouldn't be stellar. I'll admit aside from the two lead characters the other main characters were all very enjoyable to watch in their own right, the main characters all had some backstory elements that made them interesting, the action scenes looked nice, and I'll admit I got quite a few good laughs out of this show mainly because I'm a sucker for cheesy humor. So overall nothing I disliked but nothing I found particularly great either, was worth a nice casual watch though.
Ouran Highschool Host Club - Well this was an interesting adventure. At first I went into this show questioning why it was so popular and found Tamaki to be more annoying than funny however as I went on with it, it ended up becoming one of my favorite anime comedies. The harem genre is honestly my least favorite genre of anime as it is also prone to annoying stereotypes and each harem always feels like the same thing in my opinion. However what I loved about Ouran was how it not only parodied elements of the harem and shoujo genres but actually managed to avoid having any of the stereotypes that plague them. The male characters rather than being maniacal perverts were all very likable and mature characters that despite some of them having a clear crush on the female lead were all entertaining to watch with each of them having their own definable personality traits that all clashed together to make the host club a very likable group of characters. The female lead Haruhi was also a very far cry from the typical harem female lead not being girly, bubbly, or clingy to the male lead but rather very mature, collected, and capable of interacting with the male characters on a respectable and realistic level. Aside from being entertaining enough depth was given to the characters in the form of backstory episodes or episodes that focus around a certain character that truly made them believable characters looking past the comedic parodies they are meant to be. I also have to praise the final episodes of this series for truly exemplifying the dynamic between the Host Club, and being an ultimate test of the characters and what they stood for. By the end of this show I was able to see why so many people enjoy it and it felt really good being able to watch something a lot of anime fans hold in high regard and being able to enjoy it.

Digimon Tamers: Was an enjoyable show and the best digimon show I've seen (only seen the first and second series). I thínk that the show starts slowly, but after like 25 episodes it gets a lot better and the final part of the show is really good. I will give this two ratings
Spectacular Awesome Beary good <-- (for kids and digimon fans) Good <-- (my rating) Okay Dull Shit

To Love-Ru - Pretty meh. It's ecchi, can't expect much. Though I will compliment it for not trying to fool itself into thinking it can have a plot (unlike some other ecchi of late). It stuck to what it could do best - shenanigans. And I like me some shenanigans.
...Opening is fucking awesome, though.

I finished re-watching Code Geass, and man. It was just as good as I remembered it 2 years ago, and still stands as one of my favorite. Great soundtrack, good animation and while season 2 did have parts that were lacking it's ending was wonderful.

Koi To Senkyo To Chocolate: It was a nice show. I'll say that it started slow, but after like 6 episodes it got better. But the plot twists were predictable and it had a bit to many characters that I found some very unintresting and didn't remember their name.
