I didn't outright hate the Werehog like most people did. Mind you, it was pretty fun beating up everything in sight, and additional abilities over the course of the game was awesome. They just dragged on too long for my taste. And the platforming aspect of the night stages felt unpolished. I love you so much. Also the Daytime stages have awful level design imo. If anyone was on the SA2 livestream it is pretty much what the pretentious guy was trying to say Generations was (Which it isn't.)

They have level design that doesn't fit your tastes in a Sonic game. Big difference. Also, the platforming in the Nighttime stages wasn't bad either. Three words: lock on system. Granted, I've died on numerous occasions, but it's really my own fault for not timing my jumps correctly.

I don't know) likes in a game? He's already given his opinion on numerous Sonic games(including this one) in the past. My guess is that he didn't like the stages because they test your reflexes a great deal, and can sometimes lead to cheap deaths(though it's highly uncommon).

You don't want to put words into peoples mouths.

You don't want to put words into peoples mouths. But there's a difference between disliking something and thinking it's bad. Some people thought the overworld of Wind Waker was too big, while others liked it. I personally love how fast paced the Daytime stages were, and I liked learning from my mistakes. I won't get up in your case for not liking the game, because that's your opinion. Saying that it's bad on a technical scale is a completely different story. I know it sounds like I'm forcing a viewpoint, but a game's quality cannot be determined by opinion.

One more thing, Silver the Hedgehog is the most overhated character, no, THING of all time. Hyperbole.

Never played Unleashed, so I can't really say anything. I was just saying you shouldn't assume you know someone else's opinion.

Is this any different from you saying "Adventure 2 sucks" as fact? That was just a snarky way of me saying I don't like it. I never said it sucked on a technical level, or that anyone who argued otherwise was wrong. Some people do this all the time. When it comes to a subject like this, I'm kind of like Divide. I'm not saying you can't dislike this game, but the things most people don't like about it are not actual flaws with the game itself.

Nope, but I'll see if I can play it if I ever find it for sale On another note, I started reading the Archie Comics Really? A Sonic/Megaman crossover? Eh, at least, based on the one issue I read, it's interesting enough for me to read more into it

Eh, at least, based on the one issue I read, it's interesting enough for me to read more into it Not really a spoiler since they made a huge deal about it, I don't even read the Archie comics and I was aware of it. Also my personal opinion on Chronicles? It's...meh. I felt the battle system was really weak and I found that experimenting with the combination attacks often had really underwhelming results to the point where I only ended up using a handful of moves to get me through the game (had it not forced me to change characters to get through the levels, I would gladly have kept the same party throughout the entire second half). Putting Cream in your party and leveling up just two of her moves outright breaks the game since it allows her to recover the party's health and POW points with practically no drawbacks (unless you are really bad at the attack commands). Also the item system is worthless (though the Chaos are pretty cool). Oh and on a side note why does every enemy up to and including the final boss make that stupid cartoony "boing" sound when they're defeated? That said I did like a lot of the game. The overworld is pretty cool and I loved finding all the collectibles in each area. Also the story was pretty good. All the characters were likable here (or at least not annoying) and it added a new really cool part to the Sonic mythos...that we will likely never see ever again. Oh and on that note, the ending can go burn in a spike pit.

One major issue I had: they completely shatter the fourth wall, ingratiating the developers in the process.
