The Road to El Dorado: A very underrated movie with some great banter from the main duo. I approve of this in its entirety.

Despicible Me 2: I thought it was pretty good, and at times hilarious. Animation was solid, story was good, minions basically stole the show, and overall a solid movie. 7.7/10 The Avengers: OH MY GOD. I knew this movie would be good, but I didn't expect it to be this good. I think that this was my favorite movie of 2012 overall, and I watched it over 10 times and I still think it is not just my favorite movie of 2012, but my favorite movie of all time. 10/10.

Man of Steel: It's meh. The action scenes were awesome but other than that it was kinda boring. 6.5/10

Goodfellas This was great, I possibly preferred it to The Godfather but I'm not sure, still a superb gangster film with Ray Liotta putting in the performance of a lifetime 9/10
Trainspotting That toilet scene though. Yeah, pretty good but not as good as Shallow Grave. 7/10

Sita Sings the Blues: Amazing. I love how it blended 4 styles of Animation really well. Also it is Public Domain so you have nothing to lose.

Oz The Great And Powerful: haven't watched the wizard of oz, but I really enjoyed it. There are a few problems I have for instance I think that Mila Kunis wasn't that good, but overall it was still enjoyable 7.5/10

Barefoot Gen: I saw it on Clownboss' poster on anime. One thing I realized is that when people say Grave of the Fireflies is the saddest anime movie ever they are dead wrong, or they haven't seen this movie. For those who don't know Barefoot Gen is about the Hiroshima bombing. With a premise like that you know this is going to be heart breaking. This is one of those rare films were until the end you feel sad. I would say if you are not afraid of a very graphic scene then it is a must watch. 9/10

The Italian Job: I don't like it as much as Oceans 11, but it's still a really good movie and Edward Norton was awesome. 8.5/10

Blue is the Warmest Colour
Strong contender for film of the year. Very European in its delivery and rather long at 180 minutes but it is a beautiful romance film about sexual discovery, gender politics, and class barriers. Unsimulated lesbian sex scenes are perhaps too graphic and drawn out but otherwise flawlessly executed.
9.5/10
Taxi Driver
A classic is a classic. A lot more understated than I expected but De Niro is absolutely superb and carries this film in a way that not many other actors could. Always seeming on the edge yet you always felt somewhat safe.
9/10
