Can anyone recommend what FE game I should play next? I've only played Awakening, if that matters at all. FE9 and 7 are my highest recommendations. Be warned that 7 has a lengthy initial tutorial though (if you're on Normal mode). FE10 is one I think you should approach with caution, as it costs a hefty wad of cash and has some flaws that could really piss you off, such as a horrible difficulty curve (the game gets EASIER as you go along), severe balance issues that cause the bad difficulty curve, and a near-painful plot on most accounts. FE11 is bare-bones to the point of being boring, and FE8 is one I'd only recommend to newcomers. Even then, you should be warned that the story is boring and the characters are bland.

Awakening is my only FE experience.
Also, SSB series needs a female FE character now... Roy, Marth, Ike, how about a woman now?

I think my favorite characters in Awakening at the moment are Henry and Anna. Henry doesn't need to be explained, and something about a woman making sexy one-liners about money just does me in. I had her marry my avatar, and they gave birth to a beautiful assassin.

From what I have seen of Awakening, characters like Frederick can become somewhat OP if you allow it. I wish to play it, but it's not worth buying an entire new gaming system for me.
