The names of the episodes for Season 6 of The Clone Wars (as officially confirmed by Star Wars Insider magazine) are as follows. 3.bp.blogspot.com/-olTdD6A4z4k/Uw4ggkhtWHI/AAAAAAAADmI/g71r_3keljg/s1600/Insider+details.jpg Image is only posted in link form for those who don't want to risk spoiling themselves. Protocol 66 arc - Written by Katie Lucas (previous episodes in the series include "Jedi Crash", "Sphere of Influence", "The Academy", "Assassin", the Nightsisters Trilogy and the Return of Darth Maul arc) - "The Unknown" - "Conspiracy" - "Fugitive" - "Orders" Rush Clovis arc - Written by Christian Taylor (previous episodes in the series include the Mortis trilogy, "A Friend in Need" and the Young Jedi arc). This was also originally supposed to be part of Season 5, so don't be surprised if you hear references to certain characters as if they're still around. - "An Old Friend" - "Rise of Clovis" - "Crisis at the Heart" "The Disappeared" duology - Written by Jonathan Rinzler (writer of the Making of Star Wars books) Surprisingly, just simply called "The Disappeared" Parts I and II, something that's never been done before in the series. Perhaps it's just a working title? Yoda arc - Written by Christian Taylor - "The Lost One" - "Voices" - "Destiny" - "Sacrifice" They really love putting Christian Taylor in charge of the Force-related stuff. In regards to Rebels, Inside has also revealed some information in regards to some of the Ghost's crew. First, the name of Zeb Orrelios's species is revealed to be "Lasat". Second, Sabine's surname has been revealed to be "Wren". Not confirmed, but it's still possible she's related to Clan Kryze. On another note, either Lucasfilm or Disney's been building hype for both animated series over this past month like crazy. Only about about a week left until the first of the two series hits Netflix (at least in the U.S. and Canada; I don't when or if other regions are getting Season 6 or the whole on Netflix, but Germany at least got Season 6 shown on TV and they only have two more story arcs left; funny thing is Season 6 may have started airing in Germany first, but the U.S. and Canada gets the last story arc one day before it airs in Germany).

Here's something slightly interesting. Someone actually calculated the entire time length of The Clone Wars series. WARNING: I've warned you there will be math. Roughly 46 hours of content. Now we know for sure it's impossible to binge watch in one day.

Trivia time: Someone translated the Aurebesh from Sifo-Dyas's data file in the Season 6 trailer. I'm expecting people to translate more of this once the episode is available.

We have a release date of May 21, 2014 for the first issue (out of four) of Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir, a Season 6 storyline that didn't even get to the animation stages and has been adapted into comic book form (probably the first comic book series I will have bought in a long time).
Oh, and in regards to the Korriban-Moraband controversy that's going around the internet after the Season 6 trailer, this pretty much sums up my reaction to it.
I will NOT have a shitstorm on my thread. I really don't want to call the admins to lock the thread down should it come down to that.
Anyway, six days remaining til the series is on Netflix.

Meanwhile, I have some other theories in regards to the Korriban/Moraband controversy that aren't Korriban's getting it's name retconned, because for the love of the Force, no official source tied to LucasFilm has actually said that yet (only things actually trying to insist this are fan sites and not-exclusively-Star-Wars media news sites possibly fishing for reactions from the drama queen collective known as the internet). Despite the number of retcons that do pop up throughout TCW, Dave Filoni and his crew actually do try to preserve as much of the Expanded Universe as they can, particularly the more well-known elements that show up repeatedly throughout the EU; the retcons that do happen are more to relatively unknown things (the Nightsisters are more of an expansion than an actual retcon; even though Ventress's species, origins and ultimate destiny were changed from the Republic comics, the rest of her backstory is still intact). In other words, I don't really think they'd try to change Korriban that drastically since that's already so-well established.
On another note, the script for these episodes were written at least a year or two ago, so you can't blame Disney for this incident (even if it's become popular to do so, recently, what with the shutdown of LucasArts and the cancellation of this series). And as a result of the writing period, I highly doubt they made Moriband to build hype for the Sequel Trilogy, despite what some movie journalism sites seem to think.
Now onto the theories.
A. Moraband is just another name for Korriban in another culture cut off from the rest of the galaxy. And it's already been established that there are planets with more than one name. For example: Mon Calamari/Dac, Nal Hutta/Hutta, Hsskhor/Trandosha/Dosha to name a few.
B. Moraband is an entirely different planet from Korriban despite the similar-sounding names, and possibly the homeworld for Darth Ruin's (the first Sith Lord in George Lucas's canon) line of Sith (which in this case would just be the religion instead of the species). Besides, with other cases in the EU such as Ziost and Dromund Kaas, there's been more than one "Sith Homeworld" and "ancient" could mean just about as old as the time period of the KOTOR games in the context of the Clone War era (and the Sith were believed to have been extinct for a long time until the events of Episode I). Korriban may be the ancient home of the Sith species, but they did move around a lot and call some other places home.
C. Korriban is the homeworld of the Sith only on the physical plain of existence while Moraband is the Sith homeworld on the spiritual plain. Where did I get this idea? According to the Yoda arc's writer, Christian Taylor, this storyline is going to be similar to Season 3's Mortis trilogy. And not only does Moraband sound similar Korriban, it shares a first syllable with Mortis. If anything, this whole arc may actually be a spiritual journey instead of a physical one, much like the events on Mortis (and this may also have something to do with why we saw Yoda fighting Darth Sidious in the trailer). In other words, Moraband may not actually be a physical planet you just find by flying to (and like Mortis, have a different flow of time in relation to the physical universe). This isn't improbable at all since TCW has been known to more heavily embrace the science-fantasy elements of the franchise than the films.
But alas, I don't think these theories will calm the outside shitstorm since cynicism is seemingly the dominant force on the internet.

Gentlemen. A preview clip for "Voices" that was only officially shown at a Star Wars Weekends event and leaked on the internet via camera recording. Now we have it in high quality on the internet.
By the way, I don't think they're actually using the John Williams soundtrack in the final product. Preview clips have been known to use music from the films before as placeholders long before the episodes actually air.
And even more good news, The Lost Missions and the rest of the series are getting a midnight release.

And another preview clip, this time from the Order 66 arc.
They're really trying to build up hype for this, aren't they? Wouldn't be surprised if there's another clip tomorrow and Thursday.
On another note, 3 days remaining...

In 29 hours, we will be able to witness the winter sport that should've made it into Sochi... Hatboarding! Anyway, do any of you plan to start "The Lost Missions"/start binge-watching the series tomorrow at midnight U.S. Eastern time?

Well boys and girls, there's less than 5 hours left (as of this post) until The Clone Wars hits Netflix.
So, those of you living in the U.S. and Canada staying up past midnight tonight (U.S. Eastern, other time zones may get it relatively earlier in the day)? To start getting into the series or to see the last episodes ever finished?
Sadly, I'll only be able to watch the Order 66 arc tonight since I have work tomorrow, but thankfully, I'll be able to watch the rest of it this weekend. Still, in this instance, I wish I lived further west so I could have more time.
Note: Since this thread will probably start generating more discussion soon, please use spoiler tags when discussing major plot points in the later seasons, especially these new episodes.

Well folks, looks like I misread. It's midnight PACIFIC time.
It's times like this I regret living on the eastern part of the country.

Just finished the Order 66 arc, and I'll say it was both one of the darkest and most depressing storylines in the entire series.
