Bands like Sleigh Bells and Crystal Castles wouldn't even exist if it weren't for Sonic Youth. Speaking of which, wednesday is coming and you'd best hurry up. Too bad you'll get a rushed out experience of an album, as it really should be a grower. Naah, I'm having Amnesia ATM, so I'll have some time listening to it (First listening to Ladies and Gentlemen We are froalting in Space!!!) And Magus, Ammy again? We've lost like a ton of members, so yeah... I didn';t do shizzle in this round yet so maybe it be my turn. Also, where's stryfeh? And where's Chewie? I was pretty sure they'd come over here, but they haven't signed up I believe. D= And I dunno if sheep's still in, but she could go next week if she wants. AAAH I HATE DIS EMPTY SPACE! =(

More importantly, where's Ammy to regulate the whole thing? This group has really gone down the shitter.

(Also, I just came home from my holiday in Denmark, so I didn't have all that much time listening to the album, y'know...) AND YAY STRYFE Perhaps we need to reboot the whole thing? It's been a disaster lately, y'know...

Also, yay, thanks to me stryfeh is here! =3

Also, I really like Daydream Nation; it's an intense album whilst still being nice background noise. I had listened to it before this and I like it more each time I listen to it
1-Daydream Nation (Sonic Youth) 2-Homogenic (Bjork)

Titfuck, forgot to listen to Daydream Nation. Expect my full opinion tomorrowz. Anyway, my pick is: Soundgarden - Superunknown (1994)Fuck Nevermind, this is the best grunge album evar. While this album loses some of its charm about halfway through, it's still an amazing grunge experience with a touch of psychedelia to it. Unlike grunge bands like AIC, Soundgarden knows how to make dark songs without sounding depressing the whole time, there's still space for lighter songs such as Spoonman and My Wave. The lyrics are awesome, the guitar is awesome, Chris Cornell's voice is fucking divine and yeah, just an awesome album. Standout tracks are Superunknown, Black Hole Sun, Head Down and My Wave. Fun fact: Black Hole Sun, the lead single, had a very... Interesting video clip.

Could've sworn that I posted this, I wrote it yesterday, completely forgetting to paste it from Word when replying to the dude not hotter than me, derpderpderp, my posts are always a disaster
I don't know, Daydream Nation does have a ambiguity (my spelling is u), and while the album does have it stretched out moments, I quite enjoyed the album. Especially the indulgent and intreaking nature of the album did keep me interested. And I really enjoyed the drums, especially in the opening track, Teenage Riot.
Overall, as I said, I think that I found my new favourite band!
