So this is a thing I used to do in The3eds but now I'm gonna try and have this transition here. What Scorp Predicts is meant to be is me looking at trailers for films that are coming out in the proceeding months and seeing what my thoughts are on how the film might be. You guys can also give your thoughts on said trailers as well as criticize what I think about the film so far. I would've done it last month but then V3 was kinda screwed up but oh well. So with that, I'll start with December.
[1206]
-Out Of The Furnace-
You know despite it having many stars like Christian Bale, Zoe Saldana, and the director of Crazy Heart,
I dont really know what to make of this film or what its about.
It probably explains why its at the start of december which is usually one of the many dumping grounds for films that studios don't know what to do with.
[1213]
-The Hobbit The Desolation Of Smaug-
Well the first Hobbit movie was OK in my opinion despite several people including my dad being disappointed,
This probably will be no different from the first.
Also, Benedict Cumberbatch sounds awesome as Smaug!
-Tyler Perrys A Madea Christmas-
Hey Look! A Tyler Perry Movie!
Does anyone here watch these movies?
No?
Then I might as well move on!
[1220]
-Anchorman The Legend Continues-
You know, Me and my dad were big fans of the first film
In fact, so was the rest of the internet overtime which explains why we're now getting a sequel to this
So while my dad is looking forward is to this film, Im kinda having my doubts.
Probably because alot of the jokes were in the trailer and not all of them were funny.
-Walking With Dinosaurs-
This seems VERY much like Disney's Dinosaur which I liked as a kid to be honest.
I do hope that the voice acting in the trailer is not going to be in the movie like some of the people in the commments are saying.
If so, then it'll be a very interesting film to watch.
If not, then it's basically Disney's Dinosaur only with worser dialogue.
-American Hustle-
Looks like David O Russel is back again with another film.
This seems to be a film that should be as great as his previous films "The Fighter" and "Silver Lining Playbook"
-Inside Llewyn Davis-
It seems like another Coen Bros film.
It should be pretty good.
-Saving Mr Banks-
This seems like a nice drama based on the production of Mary Poppins. I wonder how Tom Hanks will be like as Walt Disney.
[X-Mas]
-47 Ronin-
Keanu Reeves in a anime-like samurai film
I honestly dont find this that impressive and I have a feeling that this will be the Flop of the Holiday Season along with The Darkest Hour and The Spirit
-Grudge Match-
Rocky vs Raging Bull Eh?
And for some reason Kevin Hart is here.....
Well this would likely get mixed reviews and attract The Expendables crowd.
-The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty-
This seems rather interesting, Ben Stiller playing a guy who often daydreams about outlandish fantasties and then goes out on an adventure. It seems like something that I would relate to. Not to mention that Ben Stiller is also directing and he holds a good directing track record. I hope that this will be pretty good.
-The Wolf Of Wall Street-
Looks like Scoresse and DiCaprio are continuing their work together again. While I think that this is the same old same old or these guys, I dont think it'll be that bad.
-Mandela Long Walk To Freedom-
Well It seems that Nelson Mandela is getting another film based around him since the last film with him in it was Invictus which was more about Rugby than Mandela. And it stars Idris Elba, should be alright.
