I LOVE THESE GAMES! The dialogue, the reactions, the charters, ALL OF IT, ESPECHILLY THE MUSIC! I have completed AA5 recently and I must say, 1 of the best in the series, and it EARNS that M rating... main for darkness... MAYJOR SPOILERS FOR AA5 IN NEXT PICTURE! DO NOT CLICK YOU WISH TO BE SPOILED FOR CASE 5 OR SLIGHTLY DISTURBED!i.imgur.com/LDabpWq.pngWhat do you guys think of the game?

I still don't have Dual Destinies and I've never played Investigations, but I do love the rest of them. The Phoenix trilogy has some of the best and most hilarious writing I've ever seen in video games. Apollo's game has less outstanding writing but it's still pretty solid. Same deal with characters. The ones from the Phoenix trilogy are some of my favorite characters I've ever encountered in video games, while a couple of the ones in Apollo's game (Wocky Kitaki and Wesley Stickler, I'm looking at you) were awful. That said, I love Apollo, Trucy, and Klavier themselves.
Can't wait to get my hands on Dual Destinies.

I just got into the series recently, and I must say, I have been addicted to them. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney might be my second favorite game ever.

Can't help but wonder if making the series that dark was a good idea given how the games already sell kind of poorly without the M/18 rating. That aside I already pretty much spelled out my opinions on this game in the Games You Recently Finished thread. To sum up what I said there, the story and writing are amazing and I love how it expanded on the storyline of Apollo Justice when I had the horrible feeling that they would go back to focusing solely on Phoenix (someone at Capcom knows what they're doing with their established characters? Will wonders ever cease?). To top it off Athena and Prosecutor Blackquill have become two of my favourite characters in the entire series. However I felt that the gameplay was over-simplified in comparison to the older games. I found it way too easy. The Mood Matrix sections were fantastic, giving a new perspective on both the series gameplay and story but everything else just felt dull and not at all challenging to me.

Ace Attorney 5 was downright incredible and the best in the series to date.

You know what? Since in still had the same mood from the other games, when Capcom found out they're getting an M rating on this... I think they decided to actually make it darker for effect... so yeah... I wonder if that's why they decided to make the last case MUCH darker then the rest... or maybe I'm just over thinking it and they got an M because of the cutscenes.

That second cutscene alone was probably enough to give the game an M rating. The series has gone into really dark themes before but they've never had creepy imagery like that.

I read Pirate_Higemaru's AA5 review on V3, and it was really good. I disagreed with him on one thing, but I can post it on the thread when (if?) we can actually log in to V3.

I think just over 1000 or something... I really have no idea. ANYWAYS! GOT THE NEW DLC CASE! I HAVE 2 THINGS TO SAY! 1! I FOUND A SHARKNADO REFFERENCE! (When at the crime scene, click the Shark Cannon) AND 2! I think I found a reference to MvC3... about Shuma-Gorath.. (Click the giant octopus in the background) AND THE ENTIRE CASE IS HILARIOUS SO FAR!

It's weird to think that just a month ago, I hadn't played a single game in the AA series, and now I own all of the games released in the west besides Dual Destinies (which I am going to get when I finish AJ). I don't think that has ever happened to me before.

According to my 3DS it's 4432 blocks of data (don't know what that translates to in MB but that's well over a third of the space on my 2GB SD card) so yeah it's pretty big. Just got the message about Turnabout Reclaimed today, interested to see it.
