It's a shame that this is kind of shit is still happening, Its even shitter that it's only done to shut up one person for what he thinks of the game. I don't really watch much of TotalBiscuit aside from a few of his rants but if someone says a game is good or bad, that's their opinion and it's their right to speak it no matter how right or boneheaded it is. I mean haven't he learned from what happened to Jeff Gerstmann that trying to shut down someone for having an opinion was a bad idea?

I hope YouTube takes some steps to make the copyright system a little more efficient. It's pretty saddening when channels get stomped down because they have an opinion, whether it be a small time game developer "claiming" the video, or a troll flagging it to death. No one should ever be punished for having an opinion.

Basically, what he's saying is that "we" shouldn't just aim our arrows at the developer, but at Google and their shitty copyright claim mechanism as well. Can't disagree with that, really. |
