Tomorrow might be a character reveal and as I said, Wario might be announced to return to SSB4. Or a Pokemon Character, if Friday's pic was a hint. A new Pokemon Generation is way larger than a virtual console release anyway, though it's not completely out of the question. But remember though, Ness or any other Mother character wasn't announced at Earthbounds VC worldwide release.

I'm thinking Flynn from Shin Megami Tensei IV because we need a hybrid pokemon trainer/ normal brawler for the roster.

I predict that Jigglypuff's moveset will be slightly modified to include Fairy type moves. Here would be some good replacements: Change Rollout (N. Special) to Disarming Voice: It would be a reliable projectile attack Change Pound (S. Special) to Play Rough: Wouldn't be all that different, it would just look a little different Change Puff Up to Moonblast and Moonlight: In addition to blasting opponents, she would gain some health back. I'm sure no one really would mind seeing Puff Up go.

Hahahahahaha if you really think they'll remove Pound and Rollout you have another thing coming.
Pound especially since that move is so integral to her moveset and recovery. Play Rough has absolutely no similarities to the move in the Pokemon games aside from being physical. How would you change the animation without it being drastic?
Moonblast as a Final Smash I could definitely see happening though.

I'm with Nap, Pound is way to crucial to Jigglypuff for them to remove (unless it was replaced by something with a similar function). I'd welcome a new up or down special though since Rest and Sing are pretty useless... (Be honest. As fun as it is sometimes to try, Rest is laughably unusable.)

Okay, maybe it should be the other way around. Sing could be replaced with Disarming Voice, and Rest could be replaced with either Draining Kiss or Dazzling Gleam.

I dunno, I one-hit killed a guy today using Rest. 0% damage. Granted, it was Project M and the move is insanely good there, but still that has to count for something.
Sing could go though, or at least get buffed a bit. That move is totally useless.

It was just way too risky for too little reward. Most players just didn't find it worth it.

They don't need to completely get rid of the move.

I honestly wouldn't mind if Jigglypuff went entirely. I know it won't happen, but I'd still like to see another Pokémon occupy that slot. I don't hate Jigglypuff (as a Pokémon or an SSB fighter), but her inclusion in Smash just never made sense to me. Also wouldn't mind seeing another starter trio.
(Mewtwo should've been the second Pokémon character in SSB1. Just saying.)

That alone is insurance for her to be back in, in addition to her new typing making her fairly relevant again.

So I really don't know what to think about that anymore. She's basically an SSB tradition with a small but strong following at this point.

Alternate Costumes confirmed, for Wii Fit Trainer at least, she can also be the Male Trainer. Whether this means alternate costumes for all, or her and Wario having the only ones, I do not know. imgur.com/itvXTpN
