Basically, because Bravely Default did so well (and perhaps because JRPG sales in general have been on the rise), Square has announced that they want to rethink their approach to how they make games. They cite 2012's Hitman: Absolution as a game that "struggled" because it tried to appeal to the masses by implementing more casual elements. Hopefully SE follows through. No word on what they think about Final Fantasy XIII. Oh yeah, and this totally isn't an April Fool's thing either. Ain't that something? Gross, "ain't" is recognized as a word by my autocorrect.
