I am laughing at the idea of ranking gods. Kinda...... Blasphemous.

Youre laughing at a thing based around gods, thats blasphemous. Even moreso due to the fact that in japanese mythology, not all the gods are equal, as in any polytheistic religion. of whic few remain, which is sad, cause i like myths and legends about the interactions between deities.

I just think the idea of rating gods is funny. I have nothing against this idea. I think a more broad look at the mythology would be better since a lot of smaller figures who are not gods are just as interesting. I think the Kappa, Kitsunes, and Kamaitachi all deserve a spot on any list mentioning the mythological.

Kappa I think better than Kitsune. Well, I like water creatures. Kappa is turtle or duck-turtle hybrid creature with hollow head, filled with water (they die? if it's all spilled), eats people unless write person's name on cucumber and feed it that (apparently they like cucumbers). That only Japanese mythical beast I know anything about.

By the way, one of the reccuring themes in japanese myhtology is tha a creature, on reaching 100 years of age, essentially becomes a divine being.

I did forget one part. I think they mostly found in rivers, maybe some in ponds or lakes.
