Well, I'm curious anyone else here have problems getting too angry too fast?
I may not be as bad as I'm often saying about myself, but lots of anger leads to me feeling bad because of angry thoughts. I can get angry pretty quick, sometimes I cool off just as quick, other times I stay angry for long time, depending if just feeling angry or having hurt feelings.
I'm more, verbally expressive rather than actively aggressive (as in I don't break things or stuff like that when angry and am far more likely to simply say something I might regret saying). I think I internalize it too much, because I don't want to hurt others or break things.
So I'm curious if anyone here has had similar problems.

I used to have quite the explosive temper. It mostly went away in recent years, but I still have a tendency to raise my voice (a lot) if someone pushes the wrong buttons. I don't get violent, but I get loud.

If the cards are set right, the buttons pressed, and everything else, I can get MAD. I have found there is a process to me going into absolute rage: 1. The person starts to annoy/anger me. 2. The person insults me 3. The person insults my friends/ family 4. The person tips me off by saying "what are you gonna do?"
I have literally almost come to blows because of this. Sometimes people just skip past certain steps just to get to the point.

My entire family has a bad temper! Hell, I'm the best one at keeping a cool head, and even I'm almost constantly irritated at school, and often raise my voice.

I don't feel anger a lot these days, but it's mostly because I've never been on bad terms with anyone during college, and with only one person in highschool, to which our feud was swiftly dealt with by talking to a teacher (holy cow it actually works!).
But while I was at camp this summer there was this one girl in my tent I just couldn't stand. And it's from my experience with her that I just figured out how I personally deal with anger, as involuntary as it is. I cry.
I really hate to admit it because it gave me hell when I was at camp, but crying really helped me with my anger, because it would stop me from ever getting beyond it, from doing something I'd regret (though admittedly I still find the idea of giving her a knuckle sandwich a good one).

I don't really get mad that often (or if I do, I try not to show it), but I can get annoyed easily. Too easily for my liking, in fact.

I use to have a short temper when I was younger, but not anymore. These days I try to ignore/avoid anything that could cause any unwanted issues.

I have trouble because, I get so mad about even stupid things that upset me, but others wouldn't care about. The angry, and mean thoughts that come to my mind when upset are thing that makes me constantly feel like such a bad person. I hold in a lot of anger, likely because I keep trying to be nice and not wanting to hurt others.
