From the V3 thread, I'm putting this here for the Skype Chat and anyone who wishes to join it.
Chaos Theatre Skype Chat Rules
To make sure everyone knows what the rules are and what not to do. I will post the rules here for future reference. Also, if you threaten people with your powers, we will warn you. Once we warn you three times, your powers are gone.
Also, to all of the moderators in this chat, please follow the rules, otherwise, we will revoke you of that privilege. Just because it seems like I target the users, doesn't mean it doesn't go for you, you must go by them as well.
1. Don't Add Random People: This is a very important rule, adding random people is a bad idea. It was a bad problem in the original chat. To be eligible, the person needs to be on the forum with a minimum of 5 posts and must not be banned from here. If you want to be added, PM a mod in the chat or a friend that you know is in the group. If you're a member, please get permission to add them to be safe. Also, adding banned people leads to a heavy warning. Just to make sure they know, link them this thread please.
2. Be Respectful: To stay in the chat, respect one another. If someone has different opinions or beliefs, please respect them. If you disagree, that's ok, but don't be the bad guy and insult them whether it's a joke or not. If you insult people by calling them a name or making fun of them, you will get warned or kicked depending on how bad it is.
3. Do Not Spam: What counts as spam is repeating something over and over again, putting a link excessively, etc. This is self explanatory, if you spam, we will warn you. If it's done repeatedly, you will get kicked temporarily to make sure you stop. If you come back and do it again, you're gone for good. We're enforcing this rule because this is part of what led to the demise of the original chat.
4. Don't Fight: If you're going to fight over something, please do it one on one, we don't need fights. If you argue in chat, we will warn you to do it one on one. If you continue, we will kick anyone who's arguing and make them do it privately.
5. Don't Bring in Personal Life: Unless you're leaving temporarily or for a while, that's fine, you can say why. However, if it's drama going on in real life, please don't talk about it in chat, you won't get a warning unless done continually. If you talk to any one privately, that's ok, just don't bring it up in chat.
6. Careful on Links: If you post links to websites, videos, or pictures, that's fine. However, make sure they're safe for work(no porn or anything graphic), some people who are regulars are younger than 17, and we want this to be a family friendly chat(swearing allowed). If you're unsure, ask a mod or a member who can handle it to see if it's SFW.
7. Listen to moderators: This is self explanatory, but more serious. If any of the mods are offline and someone is breaking the rules, let us know. They will face serious consequences. When we're gone, when a lot of people tell you to stop, you stop.
8. Do not impersonate other people: This is a big one because this can confuse others and cause a huge mess. Unless you're making it obvious that you're not someone like "Most Definitely Not Judas the Wolf", that's fine. If you're just changing your name to someone and acting like them like "keybladeoverlord", there's a problem. If you change your name to a fictional character or to something else, that's fine.
These are all of the basic rules in the chat. If you want to get added, please contact the moderators only. If we're offline and someone breaks any rules without us knowing, please let us know. Here are a list of them.
