It's like my favourite White Album song, the composition is so otherworldly(dat harmonium and dat bass) and the lyrics are incredibly gentle but feel like they carry some sort of mysterious, undefined weight and depth, idek, but I think it's one of Lennon's best accomplishments. Only Lennon could make tracks like these and that's why he's my fav Beatle. John>George>Paul>Ringo FACT

John was a wifebeater, not a pleasant person all round. George is therefore the best.

My favorite song by them is While My Guitar Gently Weeps. The White Album version.

Yes, John was quite violent and biting through most of his youth, but I mean, come on, dude obviously had the best songs. I don't see Paul or George making I'm a Loser, Help!, In My Life, Nowhere Man, Norwegian Wood, I'm Only Sleeping, Tomorrow Never Knows(okay, Paul did the tape loops on that one), Strawberry Fields, Lucy in the Sky, Mr. Kite, I Am the Walrus, Dear Prudence, Glass Onion, Julia, Yer Blues, the Revolutions, Cry Baby Cry, I Want You(She's So Heavy), Don't Let Me Down, Real Love, and that's not counting his solo career stuff. Also did you hear the Anthology versions of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Something? Especially Something, like, holy fuck, a single acoustic guitar provides better arangement.

It is fair enough to say that John wrote the best songs but he still ain't my favourite Beatle because I keep remembering what a twat he was.
