Yep.
-There are no bad genres, just artists who represent them in a negative light.
-I'm generally indifferent to Nickelback.
-I find myself listening to (and unironically enjoying) quite a bit of nu-metal/metalcore.

- I like some brostep
- I don't mind Nickelback
- I don't like Grindcore
- Other than the one above, I pretty much like all genres as long as the music is good

It's kind of hard to tell what's an unpopular opinion in the world of music, since there are such huge camps for pretty much every opinion. Katy Perry is popular, but a ton of people (myself included) hate her music, for example.
That said, I dislike most rap and many popular metal artists (Metallica, Megadeth etc.)

-I kind of like One Direction.
-Crush 40 is in fact my favorite band(this is only popular among video games, not bands in general).

This is targeted at no-one in particular but after hanging around the internet for long enough, I have some things to say on the subject of rap.
Liking rap music is not unpopular but neither is disliking it. On the internet most people feel the need to bash what is popular and once the bashing has been done it becomes the popular thing to defend that which was once bashed. This doesn't happen as much with rap music but the bashing what is popular annoys me to no end. Popular rap music was shit in the mid-2000s, I get that and it feels that many people are still stuck there in their minds. It would be easier that way because it could be categorically said that it was all about bitches and hoes so armchair critics wouldn't have to actually keep up to date with things or form opinions of their own. You get rap which is both smart/good as well as being popular; Kendrick Lamar hit the mainstream after a frankly superb and moving album in 2012, aside from Yeezus, Kanye's output has been great. Even Drake has something to offer.
Also, multiple critics of rap music enjoy 'classic' rock. No problems with liking it at all, I indulge in it frequently but criticising rap for the vapidity of lyrics and then going off to enjoy hair metal is a ridiculously hypocritical thing to do; if someone is going to write a song about women then I will take a rap any day of the week because I would like to hear meter shifts, I would like it to feel more like a poem. It is perfectly possible to like both and if you refer to rap as 'not being music' then you need to pull your head out right from your arse, go onto youtube, and listen to some true masters of the craft like El-P, Aesop Rock, and Ice Cube.

-I think Bohemian rhapsody is a Okay song at best.
-The show must go on is Queen's best song
-Headfirst for Halos is My Chemical Romances best song
-Come As You Are is better than Smell's like Teen Spirit.
