Here's how you can salvage whatever text/links you had left from the forum:
1. First of all, if you've written, say, a review or whatever, try your best to remember a part of a sentence you used. Go to Google, and type that excrept from the review, between quotation marks("").
2. If you've found your forum thread on the searched results, move your mouse over that result, and you might notice a (very feint) arrow to the right of the search result, pointing to the right. Click on it.
3. There'll be a bar showing up to the right that should provide some details on the site. It may or may not have a "Cached" option. If it does have it, you're in luck. Click "Cached" right away and you'll be brought back to where all the text and posted images are. If you don't find the Cached button, try inputing the thread link to Google and just fiddle around with that until you find something. Have faith!

Only real things from me were RPs. Which I will sadly miss.
Being rather new and out of place here I had little to lose.

Gone...? That means Chaos Wars... Is gone. Oh well. At least someone made this backup site. I could just leave off from where we ended. But I don't know where Kujie, Red, or any of them are.

I can at least recover some stuff that way. Searched for my Other M review and managed to see the entire thing. Meh, as long as we leave this pit. Then just leave, Pirate. You've done nothing but bitch like a 5 year old since this site went up and I'm personally sick of your unbearable attitude. We get the point. You don't like the site. THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU COMING HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?

You've done nothing but bitch like a 5 year old since this site went up and I'm personally sick of your unbearable attitude. We get the point. You don't like the site. THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU COMING HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE? I'm hoping for something interesting to pop up. At least on the old forum, there was always some kind of interesting discussion. Here, there's not. This can attributed to the lack of members but I distinctly remember they're being a similar amount of members on the old forum when it first started and it was far more engaging. People had more original topics to talk about, discussions were inventive and engaging. Now, it's "Thread starts, one post talks about the topic at hand then a pony/spider-man/other meme and then another meme, and then somebody (normally me) complains about something, it gets sidetracked, back to memes". It's not fun, you don't make me want to participate in discussion. We're just recycling old threads. Are we really that starved for creativity? Also, It's a poorly organized, cluttered mess of a forum. On the old forum, things were at the very least, spaced out nicely. Aesthetics are a big part of what makes a website work. People didn't whine like crazy when Kotaku changed its layout for no reason. They whined because it wasn't functional. I feel the same way about this forum. It looks unprofessional and is as dated as possible And finally, my biggest gripe with the forum. The staff is all too unsure about this whole ordeal. When it first started, alright, that's fine. I'll give you two, three days to sort things out. It's nearing two weeks now and this is the closest we've gotten to a concrete announcement. Everything else is "maybe" or "We might have to do this". No, that's not how you efficiently run a forum. You guys need to communicate more when it comes to announcements. You need to sit down and discuss what's going to happen with the forum. And I mean every staff member needs to discuss it. You're all busy with various things, I realize this, however you guys need to pay attention to other things you're involved in, such as this forum. You're all distracted by your non-forum activities (which is fine) but you're the ones in charge and we need some definitive answers. Also, you can't let staff speculate. You simply can't. When people see that an admin is saying something like "We could, depending on circumstances.", they immediately jump to conclusions. That's how humanity works. A higher-up speculates something and everybody thinks "Well, he's probably right". So, why do I bitch about ProBoards? Because it's obvious that you guys knew this would be a temp and as such, nobody is taking it seriously. And it even looks kind of slapped together (but that's just the way Proboards looks) which certainly doesn't help. What you should have done (and what you should do in the future, provided this happens again) is not announce it as a temp forum. Something along the lines of "This is the replacement forum". If you manage to get the original forum back up, great, maybe people will flock back to it, maybe not. So, to summarize; my problems with forum are 1. Topics are predictable, boring and stale. And we reuse the same internet memes over and over again. 2. Proboards is a slapped together, poorly organized, cluttered mess of a forum. It's unappealing and unprofessional 3. The staff needs to communicate and seriously consider what they're going to do. And please stop saying vague things like "Depending on circumstances". If you don't have a concrete answer, don't say anything at all. 4.Nobody is taking this forum seriously. And it's boring as a result. I think that about sums it up.

Seriously guys stop derailing the threads with ponies and all those memes. Alex is at least going to acknowledge the chaos theater in his latest Vlog, which is good. Still Pirate Why didn't you just post something like this instead of just outright complaining?

I need some kind of reason (post, comment, etc.).

You didn't think to? Would've been better to think to rather than your constant bitching, and I likely wouldn't have lost a lot of respect for you for doing so. Perhaps you should think next time. I've been annoyed with your pessimism before but never to this extreme.
We know your problems with Proboard. You haven't shut up about it since we got here. I don't know how many times you think you need to repeat yourself before people get the point, but once is generally enough, you know? You don't like Proboards. SHUT UP ABOUT IT ALREADY.
The Chaos Theatre is already being remade. We know what we're doing. Most of it is in Krazier's hands but he finally got what he needed. If you don't like vague, deal with it. 100% certainty isn't a part of life.
Yeah, I see a bunch of memes. Thing is not much I can do other than say keep it on track. Its the one thing I won't argue with.
Beyond that, you haven't told us anything we don't know. Now, instead of making a ton of bitchy posts, next time, MAKE ONE POST LIKE YOU JUST DID. It's not that hard. Not only does it look better on you but keeps people from getting aggravated with you in the first place. Now, I'm going to make this very clear- I don't want to hear you complain about it one more time. We KNOW these things, and you've made what point you wanted to make in one post. Leave it at that.

Jeez, everyone's so irritable. My opinions: Pro-this-site: It's functional. It works. Color schemes similar to the old one, which is helping with adaptation Anti-this-site: Not quite as well proportioned, old conveniences are missing, etc. Overall: Meh, not as good as the old place but it's certainly enough. I think that maybe the slightly "off" environment and overall "newness" is somehow contributing to everyone being so irritable/on-edge/whatever you call it. Someone on some other thread (My memory's telling me it was Clownboss, but I can never trust my memory with names) posted this site which I personally find a bit better as a "copy," though I haven't seen any threads or anything posted in it yet. Just tossing it out there. Also, rorscach/whoever you used to be, I'm here. So that's one more for the old Chaos Wars bunch. I was actually considering suggesting making a new thread for chaos wars since the old one was lagging up a lot anyways.
