True, hurts those of us who are tolerant Christians.
Let God judge who fit to live or not based on such petty things as SEXUALITY etc. It's His place to judge them not ours. As well, nothing says as far as I have read they can't be forgiven their sins like anyone else.
Who did Christ say to kill? I'm pretty sure it was nobody. You can't be a Christian without following the teaches of Christ, and I'm pretty sure none of His teachings were ever about calling for the death of any group.

They seem to forget that it's something your born as... You either are or aren't... no two ways around it... Its more natural than their faith, so they can shut up & allow people to be happy in their own way~

Yeah, whatever happend to the land of the free where you can live (almost) any way you want, if your homosexual then you should have the right to live life here like everyone else, its one of the reasons why I'm agnostic, if there are people that are being excluded, why do I want to be a part of that? And like the past has shown, bible belt churches are the slowest to accept change, so don't expect much for a while

You can't be a Christian without following the teaches of Christ, and I'm pretty sure none of His teachings were ever about calling for the death of any group. Actually, the bible (which I'd say is the closest thing you can get to Jesus telling us to do something) DOES say you should kill others. Quite a bit actually. - "If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)
- "Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel." (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)
- "Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death." (Exodus 21:15 NAB)
- "Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed." (Exodus 22:19 NAB)
- And today's winner: "Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him."" (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT) (TL;DR: Kill the entire town if one person worships another god)
Although I think that pastor and his buddies are quite a bunch of arses, I'm at least happy they don't follow the bible to the exact word.

That the old testament. Where in the new testament is anything like that said? Particularly where in the Gospels which are about the life and teachings of Christ.
I reject the old testament as a false bible, for containing the very passages you cited. Find me that same hate speech in the NEW TESTAMENT.

Firstly, I believe that somewhere Jesus says he doesn't come to bring new laws, only to uphold the old ones. So technically the new testament doesn't say that, but it does refer to it. And if I recall correctly, it does say some nasty things about the Romans, but I'm willing to ignore that because Romans were quite a bunch of dicks to Christians back then, so I can't blame them for it.
Secondly, while you may reject the old testament, not everyone does. There's a reason they still call it the "new testament" and the "old testament", not the "one and only testament" and the "pile of paper for use after a burrito dinner".
Lastly, I'd like to steer clear of discussing any religious scriptures. That NEVER ends well. I'm not saying either of us will start behaving less civilized soon, but religious discussion can turn even the greatest minds into poo-flinging monkeys.

The sad thing is what this Church is doing is techniqually Illegal in America~ In fact protesting against in general is actually illegal... All thanks to the founding amendments~
The sad fact is that, while they do have the right to their own religeonious beliefs, the moment it interfers with the rights & freedoms of someone else, it techniqually becomes illegal~
Like how you have the freedom to own a gun if you want, you that turns against you the moment you use it to take away someone elses freedom (I.E: Shoot them)
Silly Americans & your blatent disregard of what the fuck your countries original purpose was~
