RollerCoaster Tycoon 4, eh? I do remember playing one of the earlier ones when I was at school and I have been playing the third one not a long time ago. So I wonder how good the new one will be. *Sees that it's coming to mobile* Are you serious? Why make ca classic computer game franchise into a cash grab mobilephone game?

Why do i get the feeling Gantlet will suffer the same fate Thankfully No, Hope that Warner Bros Games keeps up the good work from there. As for this, Trite Mobile Phone Game Shit. Personally, I'd prefer getting the first two games on GOG.com instead of this.

The very fact it's being made for phones screams corporative bullshit. It's like hoping for an Angry Birds game that doesn't cash the fuck out of you. There's optimism and then there's hoping BS is not going to be BS. I mean, yeah, let's not hope for the worse every time, but c'mon! This isn't even aiming to the right demographic!

A mobile platform simply isn't conducive to the experience associated with and expected from a game in the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise, and that's even without factoring in the usual paywalls and in-app purchases that tend to come with a mobile game.

Then it's good, and nobody will give a shit, aside from being a little miffed that it's still a mobile title. The thing is, is that it IS A MOBILE TITLE. Have you ever seen the other thousand Free-To-Play titles on the mobile market?! They generally lock content behind paywalls and timers and other bull-shit, to get as much money out of you, as humanly possible. Now it hasn't been announced yet that it's free-to-play (except if was mentioned in an article somewhere that i haven't seen) but i know for a fact that it's going to be free to play and here's why:
Pause at 0:05, this will give a little insight to the UI, specifically the top bar. Focus on that. Now, you can clearly see that on the top we have 4 UI Elements. Theres an EXP bar, implying a progression system of some sort, which is an indicator of F2P (AKA P2W) but not concrete evidence, but before that are two other bars with numbers. One of them appears to be Gold Coins and the other some sort of red ticket; ruby; secondary currency, which is an even stronger indicator of F2P (AKA P2W) but not totally concrete, so lets have a look at the big green plus symbols, which might as well be neon and on fire.

It looks like it's being influenced by ANOTHER P2W mobile reboot of a beloved franchise.
