Since these tend to happen a lot I decided to make this thread as a general place to post news, predictions, and reaction gifs from NeoGAF. Anytime there's a Nintendo Direct going on, bump this thread. As you can probably imagine, there is a Nintendo Direct coming soon. Tomorrow, actually. In exactly 24 hours from now. It's apparently "focused on Spring titles" but after the last few Directs I've learned to take those statements with a grain of salt. So, floor's all yours, go crazy. |

So the Big 3 Smash contenders seem to be:
1. Little Mac- Because of the Punch Out! reveal theory.
2. King K. Rool- He is the only one capable of our seeping DK (Plus Tropical Freeze).
3. Ridley- He was the only one hinted at so far. Plus Sakurai loves your hopes and dreams.
4. Chrom- Sakurai hates you, and your dreams.

If we're getting any newcomer for Smash (which is unlikely), I'd bet on Dixie Kong since Tropical Freeze comes out soon. That being said, we probably won't see her until March at the earliest because Rosalina wasn't revealed until a month after 3D World came out.
Also, I'm betting the Direct will mostly be about Yoshi, Mario Kart and maybe Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

Soraya Saga, wife of the head of Monolith Soft, retweeted about this Direct.
She's only retweeted about Directs that involve X so far.
I believe the phrase is "ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN!"
