A mysterious figure had appeared on a rooftop with a bow. He then grabbed one of the robots on the rooftop and threw him off.

The robot doesn't notice it. Meanwhile, General Bison had met absolutely no resistance, General Gheb had entered Ilia, and Emperor Lord King Baron Applebane VII had met... quite a bit of resistance in the country named after the Greek God of War, but was making progress.

Gheb is immediately ambushed, and is fighting a losing battle. He sends a message to the Emperor and General Bison.
"That... INCOMPETENT! Remind me to strip him of his position when he returns... IF he returns..."
He is fighting continued battles against the forces of Ares, and they're pretty evenly matched.

Gheb's army has been entirely destroyed, However, M.Bison has made it to a major town, and the Emperor is pushing the Ares army back.
