"Shapeshifting...I think. That's pretty neat. I can't do anything except this." To emphasize, I held up my finger, producing a small flicker of light. It was pretty easy, but it's all I can manage. Anything else, and it bursts.
"I'm pretty weak to make anything else. But I guess I make a handy flashlight."

Practice? I hadn't really thought about it. "Hm. Maybe..." I stared at the ball a little harder, trying to figure out what would make it grow and how to use it. Then I could become a REALLY useful flashlight.
...I'm bumming myself out here. I need a new story. "So, why are you here?"

Eli jumps out of his shuttle and is grabbed by a jet propelled glider, which is also holding his gun.

I climb the west wall.
"It appears to be 2-185, or as it's more commonly known, the Dark Bull. He is charging into the wall, and it can't take too much stress. Thankfully, I brought this!"
I fire my rocket launcher, which distracts the Dark Bull.
"NOW!"
I glide down onto his back with my longcoat, which was designed to double as a flying suit.

Raduga drops off Eli by his other 2 machines, a Hovering Laser Turret, and a Whirlybird Bot.
"Raduga, scout out the perimeter. Got it! Blesk, start charging up! No problem! Zastchivy, think you can transport me around. I'll try, but no promises,"
The glider flies off to scout, a solar panel opens up on the laser turret, and Eli fastens on to the Whirlybird.
