I am so distracted fighting the Wave-bots and Tennos that I don't notice the portal when it initially opens. After killing the last of the Wave-bots and Tennos, I notice the portal to Burst's hideout. I run towards the portal, but suddenly my legs are grabbed by a huge mech. It proceeds to throw me upwards.

The mech gets up, thoroughly damaged but still functioning. It fires a laser at Fawn as she throws me into the portal.

I jump out of the portal. "I'll take care of the mech!" I yell before charging foolhardily at the mech. It starts bombarding me with missiles and lasers.

The mech is completely frozen, and becomes very brittle from the damage. I jump from the smoke created from the mech's bombardment, more singed and covered in dust but otherwise unharmed. I pull out my Masamune and give the mech my strongest whack. It proceeds to collapse. After landing, I say, "Thanks Red." then run into the portal to fight Burst.
